Our Chartwells Education division offers a passion for food to the education market. With a key focus on catering in University Colleges, Independent schools and providing retail, boarding and function catering solutions, the emphasis is on personalised flexible service and thinking differently to create a unique point of difference for our clients. You will be responsible for the production of all culinary offerings. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative 'foodie' who wants to be part of a busy team. The primary role is to be hands on and ensure the food offered at the site is delivered to an exceptional standard.
A bit about you - Trade qualified Chef with exposure in short order and bulk cooking
- Talent and drive to work under pressure, un-supervised and to tight deadlines
- Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
- Available to work weekends if required
- Passion for understanding WHS, Food Safety & HACCP regulations
A day in the life - Produce incredibly delicious culinary offerings in line with current food trends
- Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating
- Championing the significance and accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls
