T&H Levai Landscaping is a family-owned and oriented business who is currently looking for a Bush Regenerator/Weed Controller to work in the south-east Queensland area starting and finishing from Logan. A permanent contract will be offered after successful completion of a probation period.
We need somebody with the following skillset
· Currently enrolled or have a Cert II or III in Conservation and Land Management or similar
· Current Chemical Certificate or AC/DC
· Previous bush regeneration experience highly regarded
· Field ID skills for relevant flora and fauna highly regarded
· Current Drivers Licence - manual
· White Card
· Physically fit for the inherent requirements of the role
· Ability to work as part of a team and under direct supervision
· Strong work ethic
Desirable skills
· Current First Aid Certificate
· Certificate in Chainsaw Operations (level 1) and demonstrated experience using chainsaws
· Demonstrated experience using brush cutters
· Demonstrated experience in herbicide spraying using backpacks and high-volume units
· Other relevant training and/or experience (e.g. Horticulture, Environmental science/Biology) will be considered.
